How it started
I started Capitanini Prints after spending three summer months working at my great aunt's sandal shop in Capri, Italy in 2014. I was the translator for local tourists and bought my first camera to document my time on the island. I photographed everything—working in my uncle's garden pulling tomatoes from the vine, the narrow streets winding up to Anacapri, the way the light hit the water at sunset. That's where I fell in love with travel photography.
As I traveled more and shared photos, friends and family would pick out their favorites and ask if I could get them framed. When I looked into it, I realized how expensive gallery-quality framing could be. I wanted to offer the same quality without the markup. Every piece at Capitanini Prints is made-to-order, professionally framed, and priced honestly. No hidden costs, no gallery premiums, just beautiful travel photography ready to hang in your space.
