Growing up Italian American allowed me to travel to Capri every other year to visit family on the island. At 17 years old, I had the amazing opportunity to live with my great aunt in Capri for three months where I spent time working in their garden, and was appointed the designated translator for all the tourists at a local handmade sandal shop.

I purchased my first camera for this trip and just... shot everything. These photos weren't perfect and they weren't trying to be perfect. They were just what I actually saw.

Months later, friends and family started asking me to frame some of my photos from this trip for them. They believed in what I was doing and these photos brought them joy.

Fast forward to the why Capitanini Prints? I started Capitanini Prints because I believed that "gallery quality" prints could be owned by many. But, I wanted them to be special. Limited editions by intention, designed to transform your space without the gallery markup.

I'm building this for people who view art as essential to a complete home, for collectors who want museum-grade materials without crazy prices, and for anyone who believes their walls should open to something beautiful.
